Inspired and informed by Indigenous Land Acknowledgments. A reading, ritual, or meditation that supports people to connect with the land they’re on, its history, and the intention of why you’re coming together in community for a workshop or Circle.
This exercise is part of my series of facilitation tools on eco-emotions. They support people to slow down and explore what they’re feeling about climate injustice in a safe and constructive way. All exercises are trauma-informed and use some form of mindfulness, contemplation, creativity, or internal observation to invite participants to get to know and process the eco-emotions they feel.
